2014 Nereo I.G.T.

Winemaker’s Notes
This is a family run, certified organic winery focusing on Bordeaux varietals. The Vineyard's red soil is mineral rich of iron and calcium carbonate (a mixture of sand, silt and clay). The quality and prestigious IGT wines from this incredible terrain offer an excellent expression of aromas and flavours. Fermentation takes place in steel vats, controlled temperature between 24/27 degrees, on the skins for 12/16 days. Maturation, 18 months in French barriques. Fining, at least 6/8 months in bottle.
Tasting notes
This wine is fresh and lively with fine tannins. On the nose there is dark cherry, raspberry, rosemary and vanilla. It’s smooth and fruity, with lots of black cherry, herbal and peppery and not lightweight.
Serving Suggestion
It is dry and clean with a pleasant finish and pairs well with a variety of foods, such as Italian sausage with grilled onions, hard cheeses or grilled meats.
